Recovered Carbon Black
A carbon-rich black filler recovered from end-of-life tyres, used as a reinforcing and colouring material.

(01)Overview
Recovered carbon black (rCB) is the solid carbon fraction recovered from tyre rubber and refined into a consistent black material. Buyers in rubber, plastics and coatings use it to partially or fully replace virgin carbon black, depending on the grade and the performance the application needs.

(06)FAQs
In many rubber and plastics compounds it can replace part or all of the virgin grade. The right loading depends on your formulation and target properties, so we recommend a lab trial with a sample first.
Sample availability and quantities will be confirmed by our team. Use the form on this page to describe your application and we will get back to you.
Grade selection depends on whether you need reinforcement, colour or both, and on how you process the material. Share your application and current grade, and we will suggest a starting point.
